Academic Women's Caucus Oral History project
The Academic Women's Caucus Oral History Project series (1 linear foot) includes materials of an oral history project that took place in the summer of 1986. A series of oral histories with the AWC former chairs was conducted to document the history, organizational steps, activities, issues and perceived accomplishments of the AWC. Louis Gage, Anne Martinez, and Peggie Hollingsworth conducted the interviews.
Project background materials include administrative correspondence, proposals, forms and applications, and proposed interview questions. The individual interview files contain interview transcripts and biographical information (some dated 2015). The series also includes eight cassette tapes with interviews. There is no available release for one of the interviews. Three folders contain only biographical information, without interview transcrips and recordings.
Materials in this series were donated to the Bentley Historical Library in 2015.
