The Correspondence series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence of the center's faculty and administrative staff. The series is subdivided into four subseries: Pre-1961 Correspondence, 1961-1965 Correspondence, Individual Correspondence, and General and Miscellaneous correspondence. The first two subseries consist of correspondence from the period specified by their titles, and are arranged alphabetically by the name of the correspondent. The last subseries consist of individual faculty and staff member's correspondence; it is arranged alphabetically by the name of the faculty or staff member. The Individual Correspondence subseries includes a large group of letters to and from William Barth, which are arranged alphabetically by the name of the correspondent.
