The Ruth Knott Files make up one entire series of the collection. Ruth Knott was the Director of Michigan's District IV garden clubs, located in western Michigan, from 2003-2005. A large portion of the collection is made up of newsletters, meeting minutes, and correspondence kept by her during her administration. Historical/background materials on some of the garden clubs in District IV and newsletters from those and other districts within Michigan are also represented.
