Newspaper Clippings
The Newspaper Clippings series (1 linear foot, 1970s-1990s) contains newspapers and newspaper clippings that Ratcliff saved. The majority of the clippings come from The Ann Arbor News and The Detroit Free Press and are related to the topics of race and education. Some interesting topics include the topics of busing and desegregation in Ann Arbor as well as teacher strikes within the Ann Arbor Public Schools system. The clippings are divided into folders by decades. Also included in this series is a collection of the newspaper Muhammad Speaks from the years 1973-1974.
Audiovisual materials
The Audiovisual materials series (1 linear foot, 1990-1994 with undated) contains various videotapes relating to the Saturday Academy, the National Black Child Development Institute, topics relating to race and education, William Ratcliff, the Future Cities Competition and Physics day at Cedar Point as well as other programs, videos used in instruction at the Saturday Academy, as well as audiocassettes distributed by the National Black Child Development Institute.
