Grace H. Miller was a school teacher in the Philippines during the 1920s. Her brother, James M. Miller, was a U.S. Army physician in Manila during the same period. The collection includes Grace H. Miller's diaries about life in the Philippines and her travel accounts; and correspondence of James M. Miller describing his life and work in Manila. Visual materials include photographs and an untitled oil painting depicting three indigenous Filipino women. The painting was attributed to Fernando Amorsolo by Ana Maria Theresa P. Labrador in 2022.

Miller (1924-1926) describing life in the Philippines; and one letter (1938) from Miller's wife Bess describing life in the Canal Zone; and visual materials. Legally-certified collective bargaining agent for the graduate student teaching and staff assistants at the University of Michigan. Includes minutes of meetings, announcements, newsletters and other materials concerning, in part, its activities to gain recognition and its strike against the University in 1975. Also includes material related to the organization's bargaining and negotiations with the University.

The records of the Graduate Employees Organization consist of agendas and minutes of meetings, correspondence, newspaper clippings, newsletters, contract negotiating proposals and notes, and membership lists. These materials document the struggle of GSAs for recognition, fair wages, and good working conditions at the University of Michigan since 1974. The records of GEO came to the library in a series of accessions beginning in 1985. These accessions were arranged into five series: Administration, Bargaining, Office Files, Original Artwork, and Archived Website, reflecting the core structures and functions of the union. Some of the materials in different accessions overlap in dates and information with the prior accessions to this collection.

This record group contains original artwork, administrative materials, and audiovisual materials produced by the University of Michigan Graduate Program of Medical and Biological Illustration. The records represent the work of approximately 35 medical illustrators spanning the years 1902-1991. The material documents the work of the faculty of the program and other prominent illustrators.

The Grand Hotel records comprise documents, photographs, audio and videographic material collected about the hotel by its management. The strength of the collection is in its documentation of the guest experience at the hotel, and the evolution of amenities offered by the hotel during the mid-to-late 20th century. A small number of items also provide a glimpse of the hotel's earliest days as a summer resort.

The Grand Ledge, Michigan photograph collection includes photographs of retail establishments and a view showing Looking Glass Bridge.

The records of the Grand Rapids Urban League document its activities as a civil rights and social service organization serving the African-American community in Grand Rapids. The records have been arranged into four series: Historical/Background Material, Administration Records, Topical Files, and Photographs. The series date from the organization's founding in 1943 up to the mid-1980s. There are numerous gaps in the files with the bulk of the records dating before 1970.
