Alumni magazine currently published by the University of Michigan News Services. Records include complete run of the print publication, selected online issues, and photographs collected in preparation for publication.

The Michigan Today records (4 linear feet and digital files) date from 1968 to 2007 and will be received on an ongoing basis. These records constitute a full run of the publication, as well as additional materials documenting the photographic research process. There are four series in the collection: Michigan Today: Print Edition, Michigan Today: Online Edition, Photographs, and Michigan Today: NewsE.

The Michigan Today: Online Edition series consists of the digital files used to publish the magazine to the web. It contains selected issues from the early online version of Michigan Today (published from March 1993 to July 2007) and all issues of the current online version of Michigan Today. Beginning in 2001, unique content was created for the online version of Michigan Today. An "Alumnae/Alumni News" section was published exclusively in the online version of the magazine and a "Books" section was published with additional content in the online version of the publication. Also, the current online version of Michigan Today published from September 2007 is included in this series. This represents the primary version of Michigan Today still being published.

Publications of the Michigan Union includes miscellaneous annual reports, brochures, constitutions, directories, histories, manuals, newsletters, organizational charts, programs, regulations, reprints, schedules of the Michigan Union; as well as musical scores and programs from the Michigan Union Opera, Mimes, and Musket productions.

University of Michigan student organization formed to build and manage a student union, sponsors a variety of social and service programs and activities, includes records of building and financial committees and various activity/organization files including the University Mimes and the Union Opera (later renamed MUSKET) and scrapbooks and photographs of Union activities.

The records of the Michigan Union measure 21 linear feet and 13 oversize volumes. The records date from 1890 to 1983, although there are some collected photographs dating as early as 1884. The collection has been divided into six series: Central Files, Activity/Organization Files, General Files, Photographs, Songs, and Board of Representatives.

Federation of state conservation and environmental organizations. Administrative files, including minutes of board of directors and executive committee; press releases and other published materials; files of district organizations and of various organization committees; and photographs.

The records of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs have been divided into the following series: Administration, Committees, Correspondence, District Organizations, Public Relations, Speech File, Topical Files, Publications, Visual Materials, People File, and Scrapbooks.

Michigan Visiting Nurses was created by the integration of the Visiting Nurse Association of Huron Valley into the University of Michigan Health System beginning in 1998. The Visiting Nurse Association of Huron Valley formed in 1980 with the merger of the Ann Arbor Visiting Nurse Association (AAVNA) and the Ypsilanti Visiting Nurse Agency (YVNA). The Ann Arbor association was formed in 1896 with the establishment of the University Hospital Circle of the King's Daughters, name later changed to the Ann Arbor Public Health Nursing Association. The Ypsilanti Agency was founded in 1941. Records include: Secretary's record books and files consisting of minutes, reports, and related organizational documents; scrapbooks; financial records; and subject files.

The Michigan Visiting Nurses (MVN) records cover over 100 years of public health nursing in Washtenaw County, documenting the changing nature of this service and its associated agencies over the course of the twentieth century. The MVN records are organized into four series: Ann Arbor Visiting Nurse Association, Ypsilanti Visiting Nurse Agency, Visiting Nurse Association of Huron Valley, and Michigan Visiting Nurses.

Records, 1932-1943, of the Michigan Cooperative Boarding House of the University of Michigan, a cooperative eating club for students that was reorganized in 1937 as the Michigan Wolverine Student Cooperative. Include minutes, reports, correspondence, financial records and print materials.

The records are organized in two main series: Records of the Michigan Cooperative Boarding House and Records of the Michigan Wolverine Student Cooperative, both of which comprise minutes, reports, correspondence and financial records. A third series, Miscellaneous, comprises a single oversize print of a tree of knowledge.

State chapter of national temperance organization founded in 1874; records include correspondence of early W.C.T.U. workers, Alice E. H. Peters and Ella Eaton Kellogg; also minutes, scrapbooks, and other records of individual Michigan W.C.T.U. districts and chapters.

The Michigan Woman's Temperance Union records divide into seven series: Correspondence; Miscellaneous and Publicity; Printed Materials; District Records; County Union Records; Local Union Records; and Photographs. The records document the period of the Michigan WCTU's greatest influence, the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, as well as the organization's gradual declining influence following the repeal of the prohibition amendment.

Unit of the University of Michigan Center for Continuing Education of Women established in 1972 to provide a forum for women scientists at the university. History, correspondence, minutes, and subject files.

Although limited in quantity, the MWIS collection is useful for studying the role women scientists play at the University of Michigan, as well as the environment in which these women have to work. The strength of the collection lies in the correspondence and in the topical files, although minutes contain useful information and are a valuable means of exploring the genesis of the organization.

The MWIS records consist of four series: History, Correspondence, Minutes, and Topical Files.

The Michigan Women's Assembly (MWA) was the largest coalition of women's organizations in the state in the 1980's. The purpose of the MWA was to establish and implement a Platform designed to promote equal status for women in society. To qualify for membership the organization had to support the Equal Rights Amendment and "to not oppose the right of every women to secure an abortion." The records reflect MWA's organizational activity from 1982 to 1991.

The Michigan Women's Athletic Association of the University of Michigan, also known as M-Women, is a volunteer organization dedicated to the support and growth of women's varsity athletics at the University of Michigan. Founded in 1979, six years after women's varsity sports began at Michigan, M-Women strives to support and enhance opportunities for women in varsity athletics at Michigan.

The record group is arranged in two series, Historical and Administrative. The Historical series (1979-1996), is comprised of the club's Constitution, Bylaws and lists of the executive board members. It documents the development and transformation of the organization.

The second series, Administrative (1979-1996), outlines the club's administrative activities. The records offer a picture of how the organization functioned. The large interest taken in the club is shown by the membership lists. The extensive fundraising efforts that the M Women were involved in can be seen throughout the collection, as well as in the separate fundraising folder.
