Danes Worldwide Archives located in Aalborg, Denmark. Collection of materials, largely in Danish, concerning the immigration of Danes to the United States as reflected in letters home, journals, and family histories; also include letters of Danish pastors concerning the work of the church in Ashland, Gowen, and Manistee, Michigan.

This microfilm is a selection of letters written from individuals who had immigrated from Denmark to the United States. The letters selected were from individuals who had settled in Michigan communities, notably Ashland, Gowen, and Manistee. Other materials in the collection include journals and family histories.

Danish-Lutheran pastor from Muskegon, Grayling, and other Michigan locales; sermons and other pastoral materials.

The Peder Kjølhede papers consists mainly of his sermons and sermon notes, with some photographs and miscellaneous records of various church functions and celebrations.

Victoria Joan Moessner papers, 1860-2016 (majority within 1950-2011)

Papers of Victoria Moessner, former professor of German at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and daughter of Hans Emanuel Hansen. The Victoria Moessner papers consist largely of correspondence between Moessner and her friends, colleagues, and family. There is also information about Moessner's family history. The collection also includes papers of her father, Hans Emanuel Hansen. There are a series of family photographs in the collection dating from the mid-19th century to the 1980s.

The collection contains five series: Correspondence, Personal and Professional Papers, Family Papers, Hans Hansen Papers, and Photographs.
