College of Architecture and Design Minutes of Meetings subseries (1.25 linear feet) consists of bound volumes of the minutes of the Executive Committee of the College of Architecture from September 12, 1951 to April 22, 1974, inclusive, and of the Faculty Meeting minutes, largely inclusive, from October 22, 1929 to April 4, 1974. Unbound copies of the Faculty Meeting Minutes fill some of the gaps left in the bound volumes between 1958 and 1968.
College of Architecture and Urban Planning Minute subseries (7 linear feet) consists of minutes of meetings of the following: Architecture Program Faculty; College Faculty (Senate); Executive Committee; Operations Committee; and the Urban Planning
The members of the Executive Committee, which meet on a weekly/bi-weekly basis, represent the college faculty in policy-making decisions. Within the minutes of this committee, there is information pertaining to teaching appointments, affirmative action, and budgetary expenses.
The eight members of the Operations Committee are responsible for assisting the dean in the coordination and administrative functions of the college. The minutes from their meetings include discussion of teaching assignments, communications, and current budget accounts.
