The bulk of the Personal series consists of correspondence received from friends and business associates between 1964 and 2001. Included in the correspondence are personal messages of support after his 2001 conviction and testimonial letters sent to the court prior to his sentencing. Note that some business correspondence is included in the personal correspondence files. This series also includes a small amount of biographical information, in the form of summaries prepared for publications, such as Who's Who; plaques, awards, and certificates, including honorary degrees; and records of club memberships.
