Ray Lyons Sr.'s collection of images, 1935-1936
The Ray Lyons Sr. images series contains 30 positive photographs, 48 negative images, and clippings. The majority of the images depict work projects at CCC camps including Camp Bitely, Camp Free Soil, and Camp Wahalla. A small number of images also feature other aspects of the CCC camps including the barracks at Camp Bitely.
The majority of the images in this series were not labeled with names, dates or other identifying information. The negative images were numbered 1-48 to make them easier to identify. Some of the negative images may be copies of the positive photographs.
