Reference Files - Electrostatics, ca. 1930s-1980s, has been divided into two subseries of materials, applications and atmospheric. Both subseries are alphabetically arranged, with the applications files containing the far greater amount of material. Topics covered under applications include air pollution control, dirod, electrets, fluid mappers, generators hazards of electrostatics, heat transfer, imaging, Kirilian photography, marine oil tankers, miscellaneous, non-impact printing, plants, and static. The atmospheric files contains a bibliography, general material, and materials relating to the ionosphere, lightning, snow, and tornadoes.
