Correspondence dated 1861-1881 comprises a great deal of collection materials in the Marguerite M. Braden series, as well as newspaper clippings, a ship's log, photographs and a technical manual. Also included in the series is an oversize volume that contains original and copies of various deeds, mortgages, and other legal documents signed by the partners of the H.D. Braddock & Company (original partners) Henry D. Braddock of Essex, (Capt.) George Dickinson of Old Saybrook, Hugo B. Major, John L. Hoogland of Brooklyn (NY), and William H. Van Pelt.

The Helen Martindale Roberts series contains an itemized index of collection materials and a DVD with over 100 images of collection artifacts catalogued by Roberts in 2012. Additionally, the series contains business records and professional transactions, including insurance documents, bills of sale, permits, deeds, partnership agreements and notary public certifications from a period between1852-1877. There are also numerous letters between M. J. Bialey (pronounced Beely), H.D. Braddock and Co., and members of the Ingraham family on scattered dates from1863-1881.
