The Correspondence subseries is divided into two main sections, "Professional" and "Citizens." The former contains letters to and from attorneys of record, other judges working on desegregation cases, participants in the trial, and various legal professionals. The latter consists of letters to and from individuals, groups, and municipalities expressing support or opposition to developments in Bradley v. Milliken.
