The Correspondence series (1977-1997, 40 folders) concerns the internal workings of the programs. Many of the letters are incoming and outgoing from the directors' or associate directors' office and detail aspects of operations and administrative matters. Also included are letters discussing potential joint programs with various institutions in the United States and abroad.
