Visual Materials series consists of three subseries: Photographs, Motion Pictures, and Videotapes. Within the photographs there is a set of files that includes both photographs and background information on party candidates and officeholders. Many of the photographs are studio portraits, although for the major figures, such as John Swainson and G. Mennen Williams, there is a greater variety to the content of the photographs. In addition to photographs, the series also includes motion pictures used in various campaigns and videotapes of party meetings and television spots.
