Vocational Education
The Vocational Education Series, 1979-1993, consists of materials documenting the importance of vocational education in preparing students for employment and continued education. In 1989, the Michigan State Board of Education authorized an in-depth study on Vocational-Technical Education (VTE) outlining job demands and directions for change in the 21st Century. This series also has correspondence and reactions relating to a paper written by Liz Giese titled, "Are we educating our girls to be poor?"
