A sub-series within the Michigan PEER Files, "Press Clippings," has been organized alphabetically. Most files contain articles from local or regional newspapers related to the topics of sex equity and PEER activity within a specific town or county. Hence, the bulk of the articles date from 1979 to 1984. A few files were organized around subject rather than locality. For instance, one file includes articles publicizing PEER's 1981 report on gender bias in Michigan schools.
