At this time the series Diocesan programs contains records of only one program, Venture in Mission. From 1979 to 1988, the Diocese of Michigan was involved in a national Episcopal Church fund-raising drive sponsored by the national executive council. Given the name "Venture in Mission," this fund-raising activity in Michigan raised over 1.5 million dollars, half of which went to the national church headquarters, and half to local agencies involved in educational and ministerial outreach.
