The 1937-1999 Topical Files, accessioned in 2000, is largest to date from the Office of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The transfer consists of 55 linear feet of alphabetically arranged Topical Files spanning the period from 1937 to 1999. The bulk of the documentation, however, falls within the years 1980-1991. The records are largely in the order and condition in which they were received, maintaining the filing conventions and terminology utilized by the office. In some cases, topics will have numerous subdivisions within the hierarchical structure. Overall, the records illuminate the university's fiscal policies, investments, properties, and policies, as well as campus-wide topics such as affirmative action, labor relations, and staff benefits.
