The Funding, 1968-1992 subseries primarily comprises grant applications and contracts to fund research by Neal and others at Indiana University. Two applications for funding that Neal submitted while at SUNY Stony Brook are also included, as is a rejected application to conduct research at the Texas National Laboratory. Later grants and contracts related to funding projects at the University of Michigan are located in thesubseries DZERO (D0), 1982-1992 .
