Under the Committees heading, the researcher will find materials that reflect the investigative side of Homer Ferguson. Organized alphabetically by committee, the materials are those collected or issued by Ferguson during the many senatorial investigations of which he was a part. The researcher will find correspondence; government documents; reports; statements; news releases; handwritten notes; and transcripts of hearings, in varying degrees throughout the files, the majority of which pertain to Ferguson's membership on the Special Committee Investigating the National Defense Program, and the Joint Committee on the Investigation of the Pearl Harbor Attack.
