The Topical Files, arranged alphabetically, also contain correspondence as well as the types of materials mentioned above. Ferguson's views regarding the investigations undertaken and the individuals and companies involved can be partially determined from the files, but are often only broadly stated, and need to be supplemented by the Committee's published reports. The Topical Files may be helpful to the researcher with specific interest in one of the many areas that was investigated by the Committee. There are, for example, extensive files on the Hughes Corporation; highways; and the Willow Run Bomber Plant.
