The Research for proposed history: Prominent Michigan Conservationists series (Boxes 20-21) contains the transcripts of interviews, correspondence, and papers relating to twenty-one prominent Michigan conservationists. This background was collected for a book on the subject that was never completed. The audio-tape interviews are located in the Audio tapes series in box 21.

The Miscellaneous series (Box 21) contains a second unpublished manuscript by Jack Van Coevering, "How industry fights pollution." Also included are general notes and resources for the proposed history and a bibliography of environmental and conservation literature prepared by Jack Van Coevering
