The Personnel, 1983-1990 series, like the Legal series, provides only a portion of the expected documentation due to the fact that the collection contains only the papers of Greg Morris, and these papers contain only materials related to Blanchard's judicial appointments. Materials pertaining to appointments to boards, commissions, and administrative positions was not part of the Blanchard collection. The Personnel series consists of four linear feet of materials arranged in two subseries: one alphabetical by judicial appointee, the other chronological by date of appointment. Each of the subseries provides summary data on the candidates, a recap of the personal and professional recommendations, and information on the administration's decision. Given that these two subseries provided such neat and accessible summary data, the bulky files containing the candidates resumes and recommendations were removed from the collection.
