The Peter Kyriacopolous (Analyst) subseries consists of nearly three linear feet of materials related to environmental issues and transportation. These materials are arranged alphabetically according to issue in a legislative action file and are especially strong in documenting: clean air, the Great Lakes, low level radioactive wastes, super-conducting super collider (SSC), superfund cleanup sites, and transportation. As these environmental issues became more salient as the 1980s unfolded it is not surprising that they generated thick documentation, both here and in the files of David Dempsey in the Issues series. The researcher is advised that Kyriacopolous subsumed the files of his predecessors, Charlie Moses and Jo Ellen D'Arcy, into his filing system.
