Administration, 1982-1990
The administration subseries runs to nearly ten linear feet of material arranged alphabetically by type. The departmental transition files are one of the dispersed sources offering insight into the budgets, duties, and positions available to the new administration in 1983. The rest of the materials in this subseries provide unique perspectives into the interaction between the executive and legislative branches as they hammer out a legislative agenda. The directors' and legislative correspondence proffer complementary halves indicative of legislative intent. The topical files provide a subject-based point of entry on legislative goals for the administration.
