The University of Michigan series is subdivided into "Conference on the University," "Institute of Science and Technology, and "School of Literature, Science and Arts - Geology and Mineralogy." This is a rather disappointing series. Although most of Wilson's professional life was spent at the University of Michigan, the material covering his activities there, both as a professor and as Director of the IST, is quite sparse.
