Although a congressman must deal with a myriad of constituent problems, matters of unemployment, social security, admission to the service academies, Lesinski, because of the demography of his district, was heavily involved in matters of immigration with his Polish American and Arab American constituents. These case files include bills passed in relief of immigrants seeking asylum and naturalization, correspondence with individuals, and other files related to the cases. These files are especially important in light of Lesinski's work with the Polish-American community.
