The Correspondence series (22 linear feet) contains letters on a variety of topics including Vining's research and writing, lectures, professional organizations, and the University of Michigan Law School. Most of the material is focused on Vining's professional work although some personal correspondence is also included in the series. The materials are divided into three sub-series based on Vining's organization of the materials: Topical, Chronological, and Correspondent.
