Research files
The Research files series includes a six volume Chronology of research materials used in the creation of Horn Man: the Polish-American Musician in Twentieth-Century Detroit (1925-1989) that contains scanned photographs of performances and band members, business correspondence, photocopies and original copyright certificates, business contracts, records of financial transactions, performance programs, and newspaper clippings. The series includes profiles of individual musicians that contain scanned photographs, clippings and in some cases concise biographical information, and transcripts of interviews that were taken by Gomulka Palazzolo in 1998-2001. Also included is material describing cultural influences that provided impact on the development of Polish-American polka music.
