Lee Bollinger

The Lee Bollinger subseries contains correspondence covering his tenure, 1987 through 1994. The correspondence is arranged in three separate files: alphabetical, chronological, and topical. Highlights of Bollinger's correspondence include thousands of hand-written notes--in an age of electronic mail--and anecdotal documentation of a couple of interesting controversies, including the hiring of feminist legal theorist Catherine McKinnon, and the accusation of the Law School's censorship of an exhibit about pornography called "Porn'im'ag'ery."
