The Miscellaneous Files includes two bound volumes recording lectures given in the Law School between 1870 and 1897. Information on lectures typically includes date, presenter, and title or subject. Memos to the Faculty are generally from the dean, and cover the topics of interest to the faculty as a group between 1966 and 1994.
There are approximately 5 linear feet of Personnel Files. Personnel files are closed for thirty years from the date of creation. The files usually contain evaluations, curriculum vitae and obituaries for tenured faculty members. In some cases, they also contain grant proposals, syllabi, or correspondence about teaching or professional activities.
Publications, Research and Activities contains reports of research activities conducted by the faculty during the years 1963 through 1994.
The Salaries series contains lists of University of Michigan law professors' salaries, and those from other Big Ten universities, which were exchanged among the deans of the law schools.
