Diaries, 1897-1964
The Diaries series dates from 1897 to 1964. Waterman was a disciplined diarist writings with very few gaps for a period of nearly seventy years. Unfortunately one of the gaps, though it is partially made up with some undated entries, falls in the period of his two great archaeological expeditions. The diaries consist of fairly brief entries about his day's activities.
