The Research Administration System subseries provides extensive information on the four related research system initiatives. The initiatives include the Grants Application and Management System (GAMS), Research Administration Management System (RIMS), the Programmed Research Information System (PRISM), and the efforts towards developing the PeopleSoft GRANTS system. Unlike the other subseries, this subseries also contains an interesting section on the theory of business process re-engineering (BPR) and how BPR relates efforts of the research projects.
