The Personal Papers (3 linear feet) sub-series contains correspondence, biographial materials, articles and other personal papers belonging to Bill and Madeleine Berman. There is a small amount of correspondence written by Bill Berman's father, Julius Berman, to his family during his service in World War I.

The Interviews and Speeches sub-series contains video interviews of Bill Berman that highlight his life, values and goals for the foundation. The sub-series also contains transcripts of speeches he delivered as president of the Council of Jewish Federations, at Boston Hebrew University and for Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
