The Docents series, 1983-1997 (0.5 linear feet) documents the organization that was created in 1982 to train, manage and support docents at the gardens. The series includes mainly administrative documents generated by the organization, as well as a limited number of documents related to the history of the organization. Of particular note are a group of photographs that identify by name docents pictured performing their duties at the gardens.
