The Early Research series, 1948-1952 (0.5 linear ft.), contains research proposals submitted by various disciplines, project reports, lists of grants, fellowships, scholarships, and lists of publications resulting from project sponsored research. There are also conference notes, correspondence, and reports relating to the Cooley Memorial Laboratory and files relating to the university's Institute for Regional Research and the Institute for Legal Research.
