The Institutional Messages and Promotions subseries consists of 99 tapes of mixed video formats: U-matic, DVCam, Betacam, and VHS Tape, dated from 1970 to 2003. Included in this subseries are video recordings of institutional messages about the University played during commercial breaks for sporting events, promotional materials about activities going on at the University, marching band performances, and materials and media releases prepared by the News and Information Service about scholarly activity going on at the University.
