The series Conferences, Professional Associations and Committees (1.5 linear feet) documents Converse's active professional life for the years 1962-1989. Files in the sub-series Conferences contain materials from conferences in which Converse participated. They are arranged chronologically, and include conference bulletins, proceedings and correspondence which document his contributions. Files on the professional associations to which Converse belonged and professional committees on which he served are arranged alphabetically by organization name in a separate sub-series, and include correspondence, reports, and proceedings.
