The Policies sub-subseries is arranged chronologically and contains correspondence, memoranda, official university statements and regents' communications, primarily from the Fleming years, pertaining to such topics as classified research, disruptions, draft resisters, plagiarism, recruitment, strikes, and use of automobiles by students. At the beginning of the file there is a master list of policy topics for each year. The file, therefore, is quite easy to use and because of the interesting nature of subjects addressed, is well worth review by the researcher.

The Reports sub-subseries is arranged alphabetically by originating unit or organization and consist of both university and non-university reports on a variety of interesting topics, including affirmative action, student roles in university decision-making, and enrollment of African-American graduate students.
