Visual Materials includes photographs and motion picture films. The photographs consist of portraits and group portraits of Sawyer with professional associations, notably the University of Michigan's Summer Symposium in Theoretical Physics. There are also photographs accumulated from the period when he was associated with the Bikini Atoll bomb tests in 1946. The motion pictures are also of the Bikini testing. For research use, a videotape (U-matic format) has been made of the motion pictures.
