Staff Files/Department Files document the ongoing operations and work of the party. Larger subseries here will detail the work of executive director Jerry Roe, the Republican State Finance Committee, and those staff and departments concerned with research and the press. Within the research subseries is an extensive People file containing biographical and campaign material about Republican candidates for office, information about Democratic opposition candidates, and other Republican leaders. A subseries that documents the party's work among targeted voting blocs is "Other Republican Organizations." Here will be found publications, correspondence, memoranda, and other documents concerning the party's work with youth, women, nationality groups, African Americans, and veterans.
