The Publicity series reflects the media interest in the custody battle between Jan and Robby DeBoer and Cara Clausen and Daniel Schmidt. The series is made up of news clippings, writings about the custody case, and the script from the television movie based on the custody battle. The series also contains the papers from the support group Justice for Jessi, which later became the Jessica DeBoer Committee for Children's Rights.
