The Slides subseries includes two slide boxes of images documenting the construction and renovation of the Metcalf house, as well as nine additional slide boxes of images of completed and under-construction Metcalf houses. The slides of Metcalf's projects are organized by project number and name. The Slides subseries also includes slides Metcalf took of buildings in Ann Arbor, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kansas City, New York City, Oberlin, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Antonio, Syracuse, and Washington, D.C., as well as slides he used in teaching construction at the University of Michigan.
