The Correspondence series dates from 1921 to 1979 and illuminates Angell's professional relations with University of Michigan colleagues and with other sociologists. A selective inventory of Angell correspondents has been prepared and is appended to this finding aid. Correspondents include Kenneth Boulding, Charles Horton Cooley, Clarence Cook Little, Robert M. MacIver, Robert K. Merton, and Lewis Mumford.
