The Lake County series (1977-1994) consists of correspondence, clippings and reports regarding Williams community activism in Lake County, Michigan.

The Memorial series (1996) consists of obituaries, memorials and letters of condolence regarding Williams' death.

The Personal series (1961-1996) consists of personal and biographical material documenting Williams' life. The series is subdivided into four subseries: biographical manuscripts written about Williams, financial and legal documents, miscellaneous clippings and biographical material, and Williams personal writings.
