The Publicity sub-series (1979-2011, 0.25 linear feet) includes articles, bulletins, calendars, journals, newsletters, photos, and buttons created by or written about multicultural organizations and events. Files on Black History Month contain buttons, calendars of events, a newsletter, and posters. The sub-series contains event programs for a number of cultural celebrations, including Ann Arbor Pow Wows from 1987, 1993, and 1994, the 1979 "Rhapsody in Black V" Banquet, and the 1986 and 1990 Bronze Elegance fashion and talent shows. There are a number of publications focusing on multicultural history, writing, and art, including The East Asia Review, Ethnic Reflections, and Kindred. Other elements in the sub-series are housing bulletins concerning Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and other multicultural housing events, newspaper clippings highlighting minority issues and concerns on campus, and various events flyers.
