The Topical File (1.75 linear feet), dating from 1970 to 1984, 1989, and 1991/92 consists of miscellaneous files documenting the activities of the Development Office, arranged alphabetically. Of special note are the development handbook in box 32, which provides a description of the University's development program in the early 1970s, and the Development Education Program orientation notebook, which provides a similar overview of the development program in the year 1991/92. To assist the researcher in understanding the complex and ever-shifting structure of the Development Office, a complete set of organization charts for the years 1971 to 1990 has been placed in the Topical File.
