Manager's Files: E. G. Burrows series (2 linear ft.). Edgar G. Burrows served as program manager under Abbot, and was promoted to station manager upon Abbot's retirement in 1957. By this time the Broadcasting Service included both radio and television, with a general director over both divisions, and a station manager directing the affairs of the radio station.

Though Burrows's papers include material on WUOM operation, as well as the establishment of satellite station WVGR, the bulk of the papers reflect Burrows's work with and leadership of the National Association of Educational Broadcasting (NAEB) and its affiliate National Educational Radio (NER).
