E. William Heinrich (1918-1991) was a University of Michigan Emeritus Professor of Mineralogy and of Geological Sciences as well as Emeritus Curator of the Mineralogical Collections. His research interests included economic mineralogy, geochemistry, paragenetic mineralogy, and petrology.
